When Thomas Wolfe wrote You Can't Go Home Again, I think he just had never been to a cheese and wine and beer festival because THAT, my friends, is MY idea of home sweet home. And I'm DEFINITELY going back.
Let's go back to last June, shall we? My mister and I, plus two equally cheese-obsessed pals, took a road trip out to Picton, Ontario to check out The Great Canadian Cheese Festival. After a day of sampling and buying bags upon bags of treats to bring home, we know we had to make it an annual tradition.
Next weekend, June 4-5th, The Great Canadian Cheese Festival will take over Picton once again with amazing cheeses, tasty wines, and delicious craft brews from all around the country. It's actually the largest cheese festival that has both samples AND tons of goodies to buy so that you can keep the cheesy magic flowing when you get home.
Here are a few of the goodies we brought home last year!
The entire experience was fantastic and we're thrilled to be going back again! Last year we had the most perfect weather and I'm crossing my fingers it'll be the same this time around.
