Splinters Are Jerks
I am basically the queen of inexplicable injuries.
Often I'll have bruises that I don't remember getting, I'll wake up sore having hurt myself the day before but I won't be able to remember when or how, and more often than not, I'll notice that I have a cut or scrape LONG after it actually happened and I'll have to wonder how long I've had blood running down my knee or shoulder.
I blame it on my general klutziness and uncoordinated nature. No one had ever described me as graceful, let me assure you.
So, really, the splinter incident doesn't surprise me at all, but MAN does it ever hurt.
Watch my latest vlog for our adventures in my gramma's garden, a closeup with our rat Charlotte, the best bread I've ever baked (banana for scale), the loss of Gretchen's 5th tooth, and the removal of a splinter in my ankle which isn't as gruesome as you'd think, but if you want to watch me writhe a little, you're in for a treat.
If you're diggin' the vlogs, make sure you pop a LIKE over on the Facebook page because that's where all the vids live. In the future I prob won't be adding my vlogs to YouTube... or maybe I will... that's a whole other story, but they'll definitely be on Facebook, so keep an eye out there first. You could also join our email list (at the bottom of this post) and then new stuff will end up in your inbox anyhow. However you wanna roll.
More vlogs to come... including the start of a "day in the life" series once our homeschooling year begins. WOOP! I'm currently on the hunt for a new camera to record on because my iPhone fills up WAY too quickly and it's a pain in the butt for vlogging. I've got my eye on something simple like a Canon PowerShot, but I'm open to suggestions if you're better at this than me. #noobvloggeralert
Alright, peace out for now. Thanks for reading/watching/hanging out!
